Guidelines
Requirements to Rent
To rent any of our boats you MUST be 25 years old or older. This person will be the responsible party for payment and damages. A $300 security deposit is required for all rentals. At the time of delivery, there will be a time dated video taken to verify the condition of the boat. At the time of pickup, the boat will be inspected for any damages that the customer would be responsible for paying . If the boat is returned with no damages, clean, and full of gas the entire security deposit will be released from the customer's card.
Waiver
The renter will be required to sign a waiver at time of delivery. This waiver will serve as the boat rental agreement and release of liability. A copy of the waiver can be found below. Please read the waiver and make yourself familiar with the safety material provided.
Cancelation Policy
Once you book your date, you can cancel any time prior to 14 days before the rental date. 14 days before your rental date you will be charged a $100 deposit. This is a nonrefundable charge that will be deducted from your total rental rate. No-shows or cancelling the day of will be charged the full rental rate.
Excessive Cleaning Fee
If you return a boat with excess sand/mud, trash, food crumbs, marks on the seats, etc., we will charge a $75 cleaning fee. We respect our customers and deliver clean boats and we hope they will respect us and return clean boats.
refueling
The customer is responsible for boat gas used during the rental. We offer two options to make this process convenient for the customer. The customer can fill the gas tank just prior to pickup or Clemson Boat Rental can fill the tank after pickup for a previously agreed upon price per gallon of gas.
